تعاونية نشر مستقلة تجمع الكُتّاب، خصوصًا من تأثرت ظروفهم المادية بسبب اللجوء وعدم الاستقرار في دول شرق أفريقيا، بهدف إنتاج ونشر أعمالهم بشكل دوري من خلال نموذج نشر ذاتي فردي أو جماعي بتكاليف رمزية.
يعتمد المشروع على فكرة “الصندوق التعاوني”، حيث يساهم الأعضاء برسوم بسيطة تُستخدم لتغطية تكاليف الطباعة والأعمال الفنية المصاحبة للنص. مع الأخذ في الاعتبار أن عدد المساهمين يؤثر بشكل مباشر على قيمة المساهمة الشهرية.

Project Overview:
The Collective Publishing Cooperative is a collaborative, self-sustaining publishing initiative that brings together writers, translators, and artists to co-create, fund, and distribute literary works. The cooperative operates as a rotating self-publishing model, where members contribute regularly to a shared fund that supports the publication of selected works on a periodic basis.
The project aims to challenge traditional publishing hierarchies by creating an accessible, community-driven platform that empowers voices often excluded from mainstream literary spaces.

مسابقة ترجمة تهدف إلى خلق حوار ثقافي حي بين اللغات المحلية في شرق أفريقيا واللغة العربية، وكذلك بين اللغات السودانية والعربية، من خلال ترجمة نصوص أدبية (قصة قصيرة، شعر، حكايات شعبية..) معاصرة أو تراثية.
تسعى المسابقة إلى كسر العزلة الثقافية واللغوية، وإتاحة الفرصة لأصوات غير ممثلة للوصول إلى جمهور أوسع.
African Bridges
Project Overview:
African Bridges is a cultural and literary initiative dedicated to building connections between African communities through translation, storytelling, and collaborative publishing. The project focuses on bridging linguistic and cultural gaps between Arabic-speaking regions—especially Sudan—and East African countries by facilitating the exchange of texts, ideas, and narratives across languages.
At its core, African Bridges responds to the fragmentation and isolation between African literary spaces by creating pathways of understanding and dialogue rooted in shared histories, movement, and cultural proximity.
