Neelan Publishing was established in Uganda as a cultural response to the growing demand for Arabic-language books in East Africa. What began as an effort to provide high-quality Arabic content has evolved into a broader vision: to act as a bridge between Arabic and local languages.
Today, Neelan focuses on translation and knowledge exchange—connecting Arabic with East African languages to circulate literature, science, and ideas across communities. Through this role, Neelan positions itself as both a publisher and a cultural mediator, fostering dialogue between local contexts and Arabic-speaking audiences.
